WASHINGTON –Today, at the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee hearing, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) questioned Teamsters President Sean O’Brien over the impact President Trump’s policies have had on middle-class American workers.

Moreno and O’Brien’s exchange included globalist trade deals like NAFTA that shipped jobs overseas, President Trump’s tariffs that level the playing field for American workers, and allowing middle-class families to thrive. O’Brien also agreed that American truck drivers must speak English, which was not possible under Joe Biden’s open border.

“We heard a comment today about Mexican truck drivers coming across these borders and doing the cabotage. We are in 100% agreement that shouldn’t be happening. As a matter of fact, we’d rather have Mexican truck drivers drop the trailers at the borders and let American companies pick them up and do the deliveries,” O’Brien said.
