WASHINGTON – Today, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) questioned Waymo Chief Safety Officer Dr. Mauricio Peña on his company’s plans for putting Chinese Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) on American streets. Senator Moreno also questioned Dr. Peña on whether or not Waymo plans to collect data on users for the purpose of targeted advertising.
