WASHINGTON –Today, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) delivered on several campaign promises, securing key legislative priorities in the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill:
- No taxes on interest for auto loans of American-made vehicles.
- Removes all Electric Vehicle subsidies within 100 days.
- Secures $1.3 billion for rural hospitals across Ohio as part of the bill’s rural hospital fund.
- Secures the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, which has financed 150,000 homes in Ohio since its inception and will continue to grow.
- Provides $9 billion to support service member quality of life, which will benefit military service members at military installations like Wright Patt.
- Provides funding for the Research Facilities Act, which will benefit ag-focused educational institutions like OSU.
