WASHINGTON –Today, Senator Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio) took to the Senate floor to respond to an anti-Israel rant by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
“We’re sitting here in the United States Senate and not even saying a word about the fact that there’s a U.S. citizen being held hostage by a terrorist group in the Middle East. That is outrageous, that should be at the top of the agenda,” said Senator Moreno. “Hamas is the enemy, not our greatest ally, which is Israel.”
